Elder Referees stand in the middle ground — talking with both families, holding contact details with care. Samudwāha is a Reference Service: we make the introduction, and step out as soon as trust is established.
Two services
विवाह-निर्णय
A Referee Operator works between two families to facilitate the match — and continues helping through the engagement, ceremony, and the early years of married life if any glitches arise.
गृहस्थ-संस्थापन
Available to any couple or family — even those who didn't meet through Samudwāha — when differences arise. An elder Referee's wisdom can stabilise what one disagreement threatens to unsettle.
How it works
Browse verified elder Referees by language, region, or background. The first introduction is on the platform.
Donations route to the Dharma Poshanam charity corpus — Stripe / PayPal for international, Razorpay for India. The corpus pays the Referee.
Once trust is established, the Referee and the family interact directly. Samudwāha's role is the introduction; the relationship is theirs.
Who serves
Our Referees are not commission-driven brokers. They are senior members of the community whose word carries weight — verified by our admin team before going live, and reviewed by the families they serve.
Engagement donation
To engage a Referee, a family donates to the Dharma Poshanam charity corpus. The corpus pays the Referee for their time. Donations are non-refundable and accrue to the corpus when not used — sustaining the Referee panel and the wider work of the Swadharma Project.
No refunds. Surplus accrues to the charity corpus, supporting the wider work of the Dharma Poshanam initiative.
